Book a season

Book your spring or fall visit

Tell us which season, what kind of windows and about how many panes. We text back open days and a written price.

Fall books from August. Spring books from February.
Which season

Sending this books nothing. You say yes when you have the price in writing.

The year

What each season is for

  • March to May

    Spring

Storms come down and the winter film comes off. Pollen starts, so we aim for the middle of the season.

    • Glass inside and out

    • Screens back in

    • Tracks and sills

  • September to November

    Fall

After the leaves and before the first freeze. Screens come out if you want them stored.

    • Glass inside and out

    • Storm panes

    • Screens washed

  • December to February

    Winter

Outside glass waits for a day above freezing. Inside glass and tracks book as there are openings.

Before you book

What if it rains on our day?

We text you the evening before if the forecast looks wrong for outside glass. We either do the inside that day or move the whole visit to the next open day, whichever you prefer. There's no charge to move for weather.

Do you wash windows in winter?

Inside glass, storm panes and tracks, yes, when we have an opening. Outside glass waits for a day above freezing, because water ices on a cold pane. Most outside work books in spring and fall.

Do I need to be home?

Someone needs to let us in the first time and walk the house with us. After that, you can leave a key or a code with us in writing and we text you when we arrive and when we leave. Outside-only visits don't need anyone home, as long as the gate and screens are reachable.
